The Refuge

     This is what we have called our youth outreach ministry. We want to be able to provide a safe place for the young people of this community, as well as our Churches, to to be able to go and have a good time and not be pressured by this world to commit sins that they will regret shortly after performing them. We also want to give these same youth the opportunity to express themselves in a positive manner, through music, drama, craft, art, or any manner that will give glory to their Creator. We  have live bands regularly that are local talent as well as from other areas. We are praying that God will impress the Churches of this area to get involved with their youth groups as well. We are not competing with other churches for attendance records, we only want to strenghten our children by providing a safe place to be. We will not make any charges to any who come. All things will be done by donations from our Church, other Churches and Individuals as God sees fit to provide. We would like to create a monthly "Bible Trivia Competion" between youth groups, there will be at times an "Extreme Challenge" competition. We want other youth groups to come and perform dramas and skits, showcase their Human Videos, ect.... The outreach is all about youth and teaching them to be able to express themselves in positive manner. There will be a time of Ministry where the Word will be expressed, but not like a Church service,  more on a level that young men and women can grow. We want you to bring others that are lost and need the Lord, so they can have the opportunity to be saved and return to your youth group to strenthen it. We are not competing, we are in this together, and it should be about saving the lost and strengthening the body. Our children are the future and the future is now. If you don't want to be directly involved then pray for us that we can change someone's life for the good. We as Christians may be the only positive thing in some kids life. Pray about helping us reach the lost and maintain a place of comfort and safety for God's children. Come by and see what we are doing for the Kingdom of God.
